Debbie

Hi there, I’m Debbie and this is my WordPress story.

It all started in 2007, when my curious-self decided to find out what all the fuss about HTML was. I bought a book for beginners to see if I could build a website without any prior HTML knowledge. It wasn’t the prettiest, but the first site I ever built was online in a day and it worked!

A few months later I discovered WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) software and experimented with FrontPage and Webpage Plus (similar to DreamWeaver), which made it easier to create better looking websites. In my quest to learn more about this topic, I was introduced to WordPress during a webinar and the rest was history.

It was not hard to see why WordPress became my all-time favorite to create and manage websites and blogs. The ease and versatility to create almost any type of site (blog, forum, gallery, shop, directory, online brochure or business card) makes WordPress an incredible tool for small business owners. Best of all, creating a website is now so affordable, there is really no excuse for not having  your business online.

While the geek in me enjoys to learn about WordPress constantly, it is also very important to stay up to date to make sure the sites we manage are running smoothly. WordPress is the base of over 15.5 million websites and more are published each day. You too can join the WordPress community, are you ready to learn?

Here are some ways I can help you and your business:

  • Teaching WordPress to non-techs in the easiest way possible
  • Customer service focus, always available to help with questions and concerns
  • Creative problem solving to find a solution tailored to each business
  • Persistence to get things done, and done right
  • Writing assistance and tips for blog and eBooks
  • Proofreading and editing, including Spanish and Dutch content
  • Kindle book publishing and formatting tips and techniques

On days when I’m not with my nose in a (WordPress) project, I love to cook (my first blog was a foodblog), dance flamenco (dance and music make me happy), learn about online business (there are so many possibilities), read novels (escapism) and be with my growing clan of 16 grandkids (their innocence is so refreshing).

I am located in the USA.
